Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Help shape the communication skills and success of students from PreK through 12th grade as a contract Speech Language Pathologist. This dynamic opportunity focuses on delivering expert speech and language services in a collaborative school environment near Gilroy, CA. The position involves working across multiple schools, so adaptability and a passion for supporting diverse student populations are essential.

Qualifications:

• Active California SLP License required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed
• Prior experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings is highly valued
• Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students ranging from preschoolers to high school seniors
• Assess, screen, and write tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with each student’s specific needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to maximize student progress and engagement
• Travel between multiple school sites within the district to serve an assigned caseload
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation and reporting in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Offer consultation, training, and resources for staff and parents as needed
