Senior Accountant, Depot Services The Senior Accountant, Depot Services is responsible for supporting the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial information across a portfolio of entities operating within a joint venture structure. This position supports financial close processes, maintains disciplined general ledger records, and ensures that financial information reflects underlying operational and contractual activity. The role works closely with an external operating partner to obtain supporting transaction details and translate operational data into structured accounting records that support reliable financial reporting and strong balance sheet integrity. The position is well-suited for a candidate who is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and capable of operating effectively in an environment that includes partial manual processes and reliance on externally sourced data. Key Responsibilities Execute core accounting processes supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close cycles Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, prepaids, provisions, interest, depreciation, and lease accounting (ASC 842 / IFRS 16) Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of reconciling items Maintain supporting schedules for fixed assets, inventory, receivables, and financing‑related balances Support preparation of financial reporting packages and ensure underlying data is complete and well‑documented Investigate and resolve discrepancies, variances, and abnormal account balances Record and track intercompany transactions, partner funding activity, and loan balances Facilitate approvals for purchase transactions in accordance with operating agreement provisions Support adherence to reporting requirements defined in operating agreements Work directly with the operating partner to obtain supporting detail for revenue, costs, and transaction activity Validate completeness and accuracy of externally provided data prior to recording in the general ledger Prepare supporting schedules for sales tax reporting and coordinate with external tax advisors Maintain audit‑ready documentation supporting all accounting activities Support process improvements and system initiatives to enhance efficiency and control Qualifications 3–7 years of accounting experience Strong general ledger, journal entry, and reconciliation experience Experience supporting financial close processes Experience working with operational data or externally sourced information preferred Exposure to multi‑entity or operational environments preferred Working knowledge of US GAAP Exposure to lease accounting (ASC 842 / IFRS 16) preferred Advanced Excel skills required CPA preferred; equivalent experience considered Work Authorization Authorized to work in the U.S. Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life and Short‑Term & Long‑Term Disability Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays, vacation, and sick time FSA Employee Assistance Program #J-18808-Ljbffr C&K Trucking, LLC
