Celebrating 82 years of extensive experience, DG provides stability to its employees while maintaining the comforts of a small company environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform composite part repairs, surface prep, and bonded assembliesDrill, rivet, and fit composite and metal components using hand and power toolsWork with epoxy, resin, foam, fiberglass, and other aerospace-grade materialsFollow work instructions and blueprints to ensure parts meet precise fit and quality standardsFit parts into molds, fixtures, or assemblies and apply bonding techniques as neededDeflash, sand, and finish components to tight tolerancesTrack material usage and maintain basic production recordsFollow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work areaAssist with general shop tasks and support production as neededFollows company workmanship and quality standards.Other assigned tasks by management.Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDAt least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or working directly with composites/fiberglass materialsExperience with drilling and riveting, including use of rivet guns and rivet toolsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical instructionsProficiency with hand and pneumatic toolsStrong hand-eye coordination and attention to detailAbility to lift, carry, and push up to 25 lbsAbility to stand for extended periods and use required PPE (respirators, gloves, goggles, etc.)Good verbal and written communication skills in EnglishReliable attendance with ability to work independently or as part of a teamU.S. person status required in accordance with ITAR (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Individual)Excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishWhy You'll Love Working Here:We are a multi-generational team with members representing a diversity of cultures, educational backgrounds, experience levels and ideas all 'making it happen' from one location in beautiful, coastal South Florida.
