Job Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, which include physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailor-made surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide invaluable intraoperative support such as preparing operating rooms, ensuring meticulous patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver exceptional pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
