Overview
Registered Nurse – PCU (Neuro/Neuro Step-Down) in Atlanta, Georgia. This travel assignment begins 07/06/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a 2x3 Night shift. Work in a hospital setting caring for neuro patients with Epic EMR documentation. Weekly pay ranges from $1,600 to $1,704.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neuro/step-down patients in the PCU, including frequent neurological assessments and NIHSS scoring per protocol
- Monitor telemetry, vital signs, and hemodynamics; administer medications and IV therapies; respond promptly to changes in patient status
- Document care and patient progress in EPIC; maintain accurate flowsheets and communicate updates to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, and therapy services to plan and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure patient safety and infection control standards; manage lines and devices and respond to emergencies according to policy

Requirements
- Active Georgia RN license; Nursys license verification
- NIHSS certification in CV packet required; EPIC EMR experience required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in neuro/step-down or related telemetry; strong med-surg with NIHSS/ACLS considered
- ACLS certification preferred
- No block scheduling; weekends not required
