Senior Specialist - Data Engineering

We are seeking an experienced ETL DeveloperData Engineer with 57 years of experience in Data Warehousing ETL Development and Data Integration The ideal candidate should have handson experience with Informatica PowerCenter DBT Snowflake SQL and cloudbased data platforms The candidate will be responsible for designing developing testing and supporting scalable data pipelines and ETL processes supporting enterprise reporting and analytics initiativesKey ResponsibilitiesDesign develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and DBTDevelop and optimize data pipelines for loading data into Snowflake data warehouseExtract transform and load data from multiple source systems including Oracle Teradata SQL Server flat files and cloud sourcesCreate and maintain mappings workflows sessions and reusable ETL componentsPerform data validation reconciliation and data quality checksWrite and optimize complex SQL queries stored procedures and transformationsTroubleshoot ETL failures and support production deploymentsParticipate in performance tuning of ETL jobs mappings and database queriesWork closely with business analysts data architects and reporting teams to understand data requirementsParticipate in Agile ceremonies sprint planning code reviews and release activitiesPrepare technical documentation and maintain operational runbooksRequired SkillsETL Data IntegrationInformatica PowerCenterDBT Data Build ToolETL Design DevelopmentDatabasesSnowflakeOracleTeradataSQL ServerProgrammingScriptingStrong SQLPython Basic to IntermediateUnix Shell ScriptingCloudAzure Data Platform exposure preferredScheduling ToolsControlMAutoSysToolsJiraServiceNowWinSCPPuttyRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field57 years of experience in Data Warehousing and ETL DevelopmentStrong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and Dimensional ModelingExperience working with Snowflake and cloudbased data platformsGood analytical and problemsolving skillsExperience working in Agile development environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
