Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Draeger vent experience required. Acute care experience required. Teaching hospital experience is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: NICU experience preferred, not required. Avea vent experience preferred.

Special Requests: Any additional RTO requested after offer acceptance will not be approved.

Unit Details: Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. May be asked to orient students or new hires if needed.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements: Will float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford campuses as needed. Travelers should expect to rotate through all areas of the hospital, including the NICU and pediatric units. Floating frequency depends on census and staffing needs, and staff should be prepared to support all units as needed.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• CPFT (Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
