- Conduct routine and complex lab tests, encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and additional specialized areas in adherence to established guidelines.
- Ensure the accuracy of results through diligent analysis, troubleshooting discrepancies, and performing routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Facilitate specimen collection and prepare samples for diagnostic testing as necessary.
- Thoroughly document all lab procedures, assist in training new staff, and uphold exemplary lab quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation protocols.
- A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
- Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
- Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering effective collaboration with all healthcare team members.
