Comprised of five, purpose-built centers of excellence throughout the USA and Mexico, each strategically focused on serving specific markets across aerospace engines and airframes, as well as munitions, radomes, antennas and fuel containment.Axillon is currently looking for an organized, detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants broad exposure to the employee lifecycle.The HR Coordinator will provide day-to-day support across recruiting, onboarding, trade compliance, employee records, HR systems, benefits, compliance, employee communications, and other HR programs. You will work closely with employees, managers, and the HR team to help deliver an efficient and positive employee experience.Core ResponsibilitiesManage employee onboarding and offboarding, including preparing written and verbal offers, running background checks, processing Form I-9 and E-Verify documentation, conducting HR orientations, and coordinating equipment collection and exit paperwork.Partner closely with hiring managers to assist with recruiting, posting job openings, and scheduling candidate interviews.Maintain, update, and audit employee records in the HRIS while ensuring total file compliance with company policies and labor laws.Process EDD and state claims, including unemployment and disability documentation, while ensuring compliance with state regulations.Provide daily office management support including trade compliance, security badging and front desk coverage as needed.Serve as a friendly point of contact for routine employee questions regarding benefits and PTO.Help plan company events, employee engagement activities, and wellness initiatives.Job SpecificationsEducation: Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.Years Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience.Skills:Knowledge and experience in human resource programs, processes, administrative procedures, and compliance with state and government laws/regulations.Effective interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information/situations and documentation.Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.Ability to solve problems using existing procedures, analysis, and standard practices to make judgments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools. Experience with UKG a plus.Please note that the salary range information is only applicable to California. Compensation is based on variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, and location as well as market and business considerations.
