Mechanical Design Engineer (260501381) Honiton, England Salary: GBP40000 - GBP48000 per annum The Role As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative and practical design solutions, ensuring products meet both customer and regulatory requirements. Designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software Producing detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation Supporting product development from initial concept through to manufacture Liaising with internal teams including production, quality, and procurement Conducting design reviews and ensuring compliance with relevant standards Supporting continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives About You Experience in a mechanical design engineering role within a manufacturing or engineering environment Proficiency with 3D CAD (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor or similar) Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materialsThe ability to take ownership of projects and work both independently and as part of a team A proactive and detail-oriented approach What’s on Offer Competitive salary of £40,000 – £48,000 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Full-time, site-based role within a stable and growing business Opportunity to work on varied and technically interesting projects #J-18808-Ljbffr Butler-Rose
