Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Zanesville, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Day Shift Location: Not Specified. This position involves working primarily on a comprehensive medical unit with occasional float to various Med-Surg units, including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation. The role requires active Epic Electronic Medical Record proficiency and a minimum of three years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience. Job Details Position Description: The RN will work primarily on the 3 West Comprehensive Medical Unit, with occasional float to other units. Day shift with every other weekend required. No call requirement. Required Qualifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of three years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience; documented Epic Electronic Medical Record proficiency; 36 hours per week, day shift; start date 09/21/2026, end date 12/21/2026. Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week. Additional Information: The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract. All requested time off must be disclosed and included in the confirmation process. The start date listed is the only date available if the RN is not a returning Genesis traveler within the last 9 months. There is no call requirement, and the RN will work primarily on the 3 West Comprehensive Medical Unit, with floating to other Med-Surg units as needed. Submission Requirements: The agencys contract must mirror the confirmation page, including start date, end date, and requested time off. Failure to comply may result in removal from the vendor set.
