Thoraic Surgery APP Fellowship

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellow to join our Thoraic Surgery APP Fellowship. This structured postgraduate program is designed to enhance the clinical skills of new NP and PA graduates or experienced APPs transitioning into Thoracic Surgery. Program will include Advanced Heart Failure, Advanced Lung Disease and Cardiothoracic Transplant. NP or PA, no experience required.

Schedule:

• 40 hrs/wk M-F. No weekends, nights, holidays, or on-call requirements.

Location:

• ICPH and IFMC - Inpatient and Outpatient

Minimum Requirements:

• Education:
  • PA: Graduate of an accredited program, PANCE-eligible at time of interview and certified by start
  • NP: Graduate of an accredited NP program (adult, acute care, family, or gerontology), board-eligible at time of interview and certified by start
• Licensure & Certification: Virginia license, DEA, BLS
• Experience - No prior experience required
• Reference letters from current/former supervisors
