Job Summary Create a positive, high-energy environment that keeps athletes coming back. Maximize retention with elite coaching, training, nutrition guidance, and accountability. Adapt movements for every individual, teach proper technique, and keep safety first. As a D1 Coach, you'll: Bring passion, expertise, contagious energy, and unmatched customer service Start and end sessions on time with maximum intensity Assess athletes and match them to the perfect programs Build lasting relationships and track progress Lead group workouts, personal training, and team sessions Deliver expert advice on strength, speed, and nutrition Ensure flawless form to keep athletes injury-free and performing at their peak What You’ll Do: Ignite the Fire Coach with unstoppable energy: Lead memberships, 1-on-1s, small groups, and teams with hype music, loud motivation, perfect cues, and seamless transitions. Team up: Join staff meetings, education sessions, and program development while keeping our facility pristine and championship-ready. Inspire daily: Build an electrifying atmosphere, customize training, minimize injury risk, and help athletes crush goals. Own assessments: Conduct First Training Assessments, set big goals, and foster relationships that drive retention. Maintain excellence: Provide feedback to uphold D1's world-class standards. Shine locally: Represent D1 at events, competitions, and combines to grow our Toledo community. Responsibilities Foster a motivating environment, maximize retention with top-tier service, adapt movements safely, prioritize technique, and reduce injury risk. What You Bring to the Team Certifications (Required) : AED/CPR/First Aid + at least one of: NSCA-CSCS, NSCA-CPT, NASM-CPT/PES, USAW-Level 1. Level 1 Certified the D1 Way. Experience : 1+ year in strength & conditioning (group, team, or personal training). Education : Bachelor’s in Exercise Science or related (preferred). You : High-energy, extroverted leader passionate about training all ages, expert in strength/speed/nutrition, team player who adapts, organizes, and thrives on flexible hours (evenings, weekends, events).
