Position Community Service Officer Job Summary The Town of Prosper is currently seeking qualified and dedicated individuals. Salary and Benefits $49,412.01 - $56,823.81 Retirement Benefits (TMRS), 2-to-1 Match Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Effective Within the First 35 days of Employment Flex Scheduling Opportunities Tuition Reimbursement Wellness Benefits Training & Continuing Education Opportunities Responsibilities Under general supervision by the Assistant of Patrol, the CSO investigates incoming calls for police services of a non‑emergency nature: responds to calls regarding traffic accidents, traffic complaints, property damage, public service duties, stranded motorists, or other problem situations. Provides assistance during major emergencies or natural disasters as needed. Writes reports, assists with fleet maintenance, orders equipment and schedules patrol vehicles for routine maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; supplemented by vocational training in traffic enforcement or general law enforcement. Must have the ability to pass a physical and psychological. Must pass a drug screen, driving record check, and background check. Must have a valid Texas driver’s license.
