Steward (On Call)

The Four Seasons Hotel Chicago is looking for a talented Steward (On Call) who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. The Steward reports to the Assistant Executive Steward. We are looking for an energetic, experienced customer service professional with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, have a passion for service and hospitality. Applicants will be a willing team player, and willing to accept assignments on an as-needed basis, in order to promote teamwork.

What you will do:

1. Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using a dish machine
2. Maintain the sanitation of all major kitchen equipment, culinary and food and beverage facilities
3. Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
4. Maintain the silver polishing program
5. Utilize and handle cleaning supplies and chemicals in a safe manner

What you bring:

• The person we seek must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Required to hold a current Illinois Food Handlers Certificate
• Previous experience in a similar environment
• Strong command of the English language
• Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills, as well as a passion for customer service.
• Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States

Schedule & Hours:

• On Call Status
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
