Human Resources Associate

Human Resources Associate Lifesteps, a local, non-profit agency based in Butler, is currently hiring a full-time, entry-level Human Resources Associate to work with the Staff Development team in Butler, PA. Primary Duties:

- Schedule and track employee required trainings.
- Track employee certifications, licenses and other required documentation.
- Ensure agency and regulatory compliance for HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance of personnel files.
- Prepare for, attend and participate in all licensing/audits.
- Create and distribute regularly scheduled and/or required reports.
- Provide helpful support and customer service to staff.
- Assist employees with ordering clearances
- Schedule training dates for employees
- Gather new employee documents at weekly orientations
- Administrative tasks.
- High School Diploma / GED and a minimum of one (1) year administrative, clerical, training and development, or human resources assistant experience
- Possess excellent thought processing, problem solving skills and the ability to work with confidential information in a responsible manner.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently.
- The ability to communicate information clearly, both written and orally, to a diverse audience utilizing strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to complete moderate computer tasks including a proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Current driver's license and the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle.
- Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 & FBI clearances and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Associate Degree in Human Resources, Office or Business Administration or related field.
- HRCI (PHR or SPHR) or SHRM (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) certifications.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
