Responsibilities Maintain building safety, cleanliness, and facility functionality. Conduct routine inspections, coordinate repairs, and manage maintenance schedules. Ensure compliance with Vermont state regulations related to safety, facilities, and water testing. Qualifications High school graduate. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in general contracting skills, including minor building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing repairs, and basic custodial work. Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem‑solving, time‑management, and communication skills. Knowledge or willingness to learn Vermont state regulations for schools regarding safety, facilities, water testing, etc. Demonstrates high level of professionalism, adaptability, and dependability. Computer skills with competency in Google platforms. Job Requirements At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred. High School/Trade School degree preferred. Citizenship, residency, or work visa required. Salary and Benefits Minimum hire rate of $23.50 an hour, or higher based on experience, with benefits per staff support policy.
