Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a behavioral coordinator/specialist required. De-escalation/crisis experience required. Experience running group programming preferred. EPIC experience required.

License: High school diploma/GED required.

Certifications: BLS (AHA) required. CPI Certification preferred.

Must-Have: Patient safety checks are a critical part of this role. COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only. Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only.

Description: The Behavioral Health Assistant will support individuals with mental health challenges. This role requires effective communication and interpersonal skills. Patient safety checks are a critical aspect of the position. The assistant will utilize EPIC systems for communication and documentation. Documentation and accurate record-keeping are essential responsibilities. Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques is important. This position may include facilitating group programming for patient engagement. Candidates must be able to work flexibly across different shifts as required. The role emphasizes teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.
