As a Security Officer Armed Asset Protection Patrol in Sarasota, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and maintain awareness of activity within assigned areas.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and applicable laws.
• Complete detailed reports and maintain accurate records of incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
