Pay Rate: $21.70 / Hour

Thur06:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Sat12:30 PM - 05:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with campus personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when applicable, and document security-related incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, training requirements, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
