Education and Events Lead - Eataly West Palm Position Type: Full‑time Eataly is the world’s largest artisanal Italian food and beverage marketplace! Eataly is not a chain; each Eataly is different, with its own character and own theme – but all with the same aim... for our guests to: SHOP a selection of high-quality Italian, local and homemade products LEARN through our classes and our team’s product knowledge The Education and Events Lead is a food enthusiast who passionately engages guests in Eataly’s mission through events and educational programming. Reports to the Marketing Manager. Responsibilities Plan, schedule and execute public and private events including specialized cooking/wine/food knowledge classes, group reservations, buyouts, press events, tastings and private receptions Supervise staff members during events to ensure smooth execution Write and monitor class descriptions; compile instructor biographies, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and sales contracts; create class registration pages online Foster accountability in departments and interdepartmental collaboration when planning events Build and manage client lists and relationships Perform other duties as required or assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree 3+ years of experience in restaurant operations, sales management, marketing or event planning Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills Outstanding professional communication and editorial skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Knowledge of Italian wine and gastronomy Proficiency in Italian language preferred Job Requirements Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays Benefits and Perks Paid Time Off 401K with match or RRSP Free family meal daily Discounts at Eataly Classes on products and Italian cuisine #J-18808-Ljbffr
