We are currently hiring for a Transportation Project Manager to join a well-established engineering firm in Indianapolis, IN . If you have experience managing transportation infrastructure projects and are looking for a leadership opportunity, this could be a great fit.

Position Overview

As a Transportation Project Manager, you will lead the planning, design, and delivery of roadway, bridge, and transportation infrastructure projects for public and private sector clients. You will oversee projects from proposal through construction while managing project scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Manage transportation design projects from proposal through construction.
Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and overall project execution.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and agency partners.
Prepare and review plans, specifications, estimates, proposals, and contracts.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including survey, drainage, utilities, and right-of-way.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineering and design staff.
Monitor project financial performance and report project status.
Support business development and maintain strong client relationships.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Professional Engineer (PE) license (Indiana preferred or ability to obtain within six months).
8+ years of transportation engineering and design experience.
Experience managing INDOT and/or Local Public Agency (LPA) transportation projects.
Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing LPA-administered Federal-Aid projects.
Client management and business development experience within the Indiana market.
Familiarity with INDOT project development procedures and ERMS.
