Job Description Job Description Seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing pulmonary and sleep medicine practice. This provider will work closely with our physician to deliver high-quality care to patients with respiratory and sleep disorders in both clinic and hospital settings as needed. Position Summary The PA/NP will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with pulmonary and sleep-related conditions while collaborating with physicians, clinical staff, and referring providers. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, patient-focused, and eager to build long-term relationships with patients and referral sources. Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-up visits - Diagnose and manage pulmonary and sleep disorders, including: ◦ COPD ◦ Asthma ◦ Chronic cough ◦ Pulmonary fibrosis ◦ Lung nodules ◦ Sleep apnea ◦ Respiratory infections - Order, interpret, and discuss diagnostic testing including: ◦ Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) ◦ Imaging studies ◦ Sleep studies ◦ Laboratory results - Develop and implement treatment plans - Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options - Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members regarding patient care - Complete accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record - Communicate test results and follow-up recommendations to patients - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice growth efforts - Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program - Current Oklahoma licensure or eligibility for licensure - Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain) - BLS and ACLS certification required - Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills - New graduates are encouraged to apply; pulmonary experience is a plus but not required Preferred Qualifications - Experience in pulmonary, critical care, internal medicine, family medicine, or sleep medicine - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with supervising physician - Experience with EMR systems Compensation & Benefits - Competitive Salary - Paid time off - CME allowance - Professional license reimbursement - Health insurance options - Supportive work environment with physician mentorship Schedule - Full-time - No major holidays - Limited call responsibilities (if applicable) Why Join Oklahoma Pulmonary Care? - Established and growing pulmonary practice - Opportunity to work closely with an experienced physician - Collaborative team environment - Ability to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes - Work-life balance with a predictable schedule
