This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of their work and continue expanding their accounting knowledge beyond a narrowly defined role.Staff Accountant ResponsibilitiesAssist with month-end and year-end close processesPrepare and post journal entriesComplete balance sheet and general ledger reconciliationsSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable activitiesMaintain accurate financial records and supporting documentationAssist with financial reporting and account analysisSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisPrepare schedules and documentation for auditsMaintain fixed asset and prepaid expense schedulesIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controlsPartner with other departments to research and resolve accounting questionsTake on additional accounting responsibilities as the company growsStaff Accountant QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred1+ years of accounting experience preferredUnderstanding of general accounting principles and the month-end close processStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft ExcelAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesTeam-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilitiesSalary: $65,000–$85,000 #INSEP2026
