Final Inspector
Full-Time | Manufacturing Environment
A client of ours is seeking an experienced Final Inspector to ensure cast components meet customer and engineering requirements prior to shipment. This role involves performing dimensional and visual inspections, reviewing drawings and specifications, documenting quality results, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Perform final inspections on castings using gauges, fixtures, and measuring equipment
- Read blueprints and verify dimensional, material, and surface finish requirements
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records
- Support non-conformance investigations, rework activities, and corrective actions
- Assist with calibration, inspection planning, and quality documentation
- Work with production and quality teams to resolve product issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of quality inspection experience, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret basic GD&T
- Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection tools
- Knowledge of ISO quality systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and computer skills
- ASQ certification or related quality training is a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
