CHILD LIFE SPECIALIST (PART TIME DAYS) PEDIATRICS at The Valley Health System Las Vegas, NV

Responsibilities Provides coordination of patient and staff education to support, protect, and promote the health and welfare of the child patient. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Child Life, Child Development, or equivalent required. Experience: Minimum of two years' experience. Technical Skills: Demonstrate a working knowledge of the requirements of this position. License/Certification: Must be certified by the Child Life Certifying Commission of the Child Life Council. Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
