Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving elementary students in an onsite school setting near Aurora, IL. This position spans from late August to mid-November, with a consistent weekday schedule of 32.5 hours per week, offering a balanced routine ideal for those passionate about making a difference in early education.

Preferred candidates will bring their expertise to a dynamic caseload of approximately 20 elementary students with a variety of disabilities. The role is split between three days each week in a self-contained classroom and two days providing pull-out speech services, ensuring diverse, meaningful interactions with students. Familiarity with Embrace IEP software is a plus, as is experience delivering services in school environments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement required
• CCC-SLP designation strongly preferred
• Prior experience working with school-aged children, particularly in elementary settings
• Understanding of a range of communication needs and disabilities
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Proficiency in case management and documentation, particularly using Embrace or similar software

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language pathology services onsite to students based on IEPs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other school professionals to support student success
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, maintaining thorough records
• Adjust strategies for diverse learning needs in both self-contained and pull-out service models
