Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac

Cardiology Registered NurseSchedule: Days; 9am – 5:30pmAssignment Details:Contract Length: 13 weeksGuaranteed Hours: 40 hours/weekRequirements:Current Registered Nurse licenseBLS and ACLS certificationMinimum of two years of cardiovascular clinic experience and/or hospital nursing experiencePreferred: Two years of experience in a critical care or cardiac inpatient unitPreferred: Two years of telemetry monitoring experienceRoles & Responsibilities:Collaborate in a team environment to coordinate patient care in the Cardiology Clinic.Provide education to patients regarding cardiovascular conditions and treatment options.Assist in the pre and post-operative education for cardiology and electrophysiology procedures.Triage patients' physical symptoms as needed and consult with cardiologists or electrophysiologists.Ensure effective transition of care management and proper understanding of discharge medications.Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.Client Details:City: LarkspurState: CATLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer and fully complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
