Job Title: General Laborer - WEEKLY PAY - $17 TO $20 AN HOUR - PAY RAISES AFTER 30 AND 90 DAYS

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and skilled General Laborer to join our team in a large manufacturing facility. You will begin your journey in the trim department with opportunities to transition to other departments and advance your career. The role involves working across four different departments, ensuring variety and growth in your daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Cut finished and specialized panels.
• Detect malfunctions, inspect parts, adjust controls, and replace blades.
• Prepare machines for production, clean and maintain equipment, tooling, and parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience with production, general labor, and construction.
• Proficiency with hand tools, tape measure, assembly, woodworking, and saw operation.
• Experience with hand and power tools, table saws, and inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6 months of previous work experience required.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Pass the tape measure test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep up with training.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large manufacturing facility with about 300 employees, and it can be loud in certain areas. Safety glasses and ear buds are provided for your protection. The standard hours are from 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. The dress code requires closed-toed shoes and non-offensive clothing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
