Job Responsibilities

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and develop personalized therapy strategies designed to help them reach their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based approaches to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and daily living tasks
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, doctors, and nurses to deliver comprehensive and integrated care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy methods to promote sustained recovery at home
• Evaluate Progress: Monitor patient development, document clinical outcomes, and adjust treatment approaches as necessary to maintain progress

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Continuing education or post-graduation certifications encouraged and supported

License and Certification

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
