Summary

The Field Marketing & Launch Manager will help Sparkle franchisees build local awareness, generate demand, and establish a strong customer base throughout the opening process.

This role serves as the franchisee’s primary growth coach and subject matter expert for Sparkle’s launch playbook, with particular emphasis on community marketing (field / local store marketing), local customer acquisition, lead generation, membership sales, bookings, and early revenue growth.

Working closely with the Operational Field Leader (OFL), this role owns the demand side of the launch, while the OFL leads staffing, training, and operational readiness.

The ideal candidate is a field-oriented growth coach who combines strong business acumen with hands-on local marketing experience. They are comfortable interpreting performance data, coaching franchisees through grassroots lead and customer acquisition, and creating accountability for measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary growth coach for franchisees from lease execution through 90 days post-open, establishing clear priorities, targets, and accountability.
• Lead and teach community marketing, including local outreach, partnerships, events, lead capture, follow-up, and role-playing to build franchisee confidence and effectiveness.
• Coordinate franchisee execution of Sparkle’s multichannel launch strategy with internal and external agency partners.
• Monitor leads, members, bookings, conversion, customer acquisition, and revenue against launch targets; identify gaps early and coach corrective action.
• Partner with internal and franchise operations team members to align customer demand with staffing, training, capacity, and operational readiness.
• Capture launch learnings and continuously improve Sparkle’s salon launch playbook.

• Franchisees consistently executing community marketing and the Sparkle launch playbook.
• New salons opening with strong local awareness, qualified leads, members, and bookings already in place.
• Performance gaps identified early and addressed with clear corrective actions.
• Strong lead conversion, customer acquisition, membership growth, and early revenue performance.
• Franchisees develop sustainable local marketing habits beyond launch.
• More predictable salon ramps and a faster path to break-even.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of experience in franchise field marketing, local-store marketing, franchise coaching, new-unit openings, or a related role.
• Experience coaching franchisees, business owners, or multi-unit operators strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success building local demand through grassroots, community, or field marketing.
• Strong understanding of lead generation, CRM, customer acquisition, conversion, and local marketing.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect marketing activity to revenue and unit performance.
• Confident coach and communicator who can create accountability and influence execution.
• Highly organized, action-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple launches at once.
• Comfortable using performance data to identify gaps and drive corrective action.

Work Schedule and Travel

• This is a hybrid position based in Scottsdale, Arizona
• No regular travel or on-site salon support is required
