## Tool Maker - The Toro CompanyApplylocations: El Paso, TXtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR16270**Pay**: $20+/hr based on skillset**Hours:** 7am-3:30pm Sunday-Thursday**RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Build a variety of tools, engineering changes, molds, templates, fixtures and jigs.* Set-up, adjusts and operates all types of machine shop equipment. Select and lay out materials.* Draw sketches and calculate dimensions as required.* Repair or modify existing tools.* Calculate shrink rate dimensions for different plastics.* Team player with the ability to work on miniature, close-tolerance parts and fixtures with minimum supervision.* Train mold technicians to increase their knowledge and skills in the areas of troubleshooting and mold repair techniques.**REQUIREMENTS:*** High school or equivalent preferred* Demonstrate acceptable layout welding skills and quality* Able to communicate effectively over the phone and before small groups of people.* Demonstrate basic computer skills.* Have appropriate reading, clerical, and basic mathematical skills.**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:*** 1+ yrs. tool & die manufacturing experience* Related vocational certificate or associates degree* CNC programming with milling and EDM machine experience* Able to read blue prints and reverse design parts and pieces from molds and equipment*The Toro Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
