What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and vendors by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and visitor information and help to deter unauthorized access to production warehouse and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility loading areas and perimeter with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support daily operations by maintaining visitor logs screening deliveries and/or contractors and reporting maintenance access and other security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• A CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
