Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Tech to perform general ultrasound procedures in a hospital setting. The role requires technical expertise in scanning patients with minimal supervision, including bedside imaging for patients unable to travel. Responsibilities:
- Conduct general ultrasound scans, including OB-GYN, testicular torsion, and abdominal imaging.
- Utilize GE LOGIQ 9 & 10 ultrasound equipment to acquire high-quality images.
- Follow unit protocols and maintain accurate documentation within the EMR (Meditech Magic, Expanse, Mckesson Pacs, Sectra Pacs).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
- Adhere to dress code and safety policies specific to the unit.
- Possess ARDMS or ARRT certification with TMB license.
- Demonstrate proficiency in performing general ultrasound procedures with minimal supervision.
- Have the ability to scan patients in various clinical conditions, including bedside imaging.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a cheery, team-oriented personality.
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
