Construction Risk and Contract Manager

job summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Risk & Contract Manager to support their operations team by reviewing and managing contractual risk across prime contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders. You will work closely with estimating, project management, and executive leadership to identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, and litigation risks throughout the project lifecycle.

responsibilities:

• Risk Assessment: Review and analyze prime contracts, subcontracts, vendor agreements, and purchase orders prior to execution to evaluate liabilities, insurance, and indemnification risks.

• Contract Negotiation: Assist project teams and executive management in negotiating contract terms to reduce company exposure and improve protections.

• Compliance & Templates: Maintain organized records of contracts, claims, and amendments, while updating standardized templates and procurement terms.

• Team Training: Provide clear guidance, training, and risk awareness support to project teams regarding contract compliance and change order provisions.

• Must have experience in the Constrution Industry.
