We are seeking a motivated and dependable Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver to join our dedicated team. Duties

• Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, pharmacies, and other designated locations using local driving routes
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with mobility challenges or special needs, ensuring proper manual handling techniques are used
• Maintain clear communication with clients to confirm appointments and provide friendly, professional customer service throughout each trip
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws, speed limits, and safety protocols while operating the vehicle in various driving conditions
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage logs, and client interactions as required by company policies and state regulations

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, or chauffeur is highly desirable
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and real-time traffic updates
• Experience operating passenger vans or similar commercial vehicles in compliance with local transportation laws
• Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques for assisting passengers or handling mobility devices when necessary
• Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with clients and coordinating with dispatch teams
• Prior medical transportation experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated; clean driving record required
• Ability to adhere to all safety standards including manual handling procedures and vehicle maintenance protocols
