As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.57 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access. Monitor access points and visitor activity, providing directions and assistance while maintaining awareness of restricted areas and site-specific requirements. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Possess a state, county, or city-issued security license, preferred. Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred. Have customer service experience, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
