This role will provide operational support, process improvement, and cross-team collaboration to strengthen network infrastructure. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in collaborative environments, and is proactive in identifying areas of improvement across systems, processes, and team functions.ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.Clearly explain core networking concepts (e.g., subnets, routing, VLANs, TCP/IP) to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Perform root cause analysis and proactively identify network inefficiencies or areas for optimization.Contribute to process improvement initiatives, documenting best practices and standard operating procedures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, reliability, and resiliency in IT operations.Participate in team-building and knowledge-sharing efforts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.Provide coverage during 2nd shift hours twice per month to support 24/7 operational needs.Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and procedures across all supported platforms.RequiredCCNA certification5–10 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer or similar roleStrong understanding of networking concepts (e.g., subnetting, routing protocols, switching, DNS, DHCP)Proven ability to document processes and contribute to process improvement initiativesStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive "hunt-and-peck" mindset for identifying issuesAbility to work collaboratively within a team environment and support team growthPreferredExperience in a large enterprise or healthcare IT environmentKnowledge of ITIL processes and service management toolsExposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience with firewall and security technologies (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, etc.)About Delphi-US Delphi-US is a national recruiting firm based in Newport, Rhode Island.
