Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) - Part-Time to Full-Time Job Location: Laboratory - Imperial, CA 92251 Salary Range: $55.00 - $70.00 Hourly Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform clinical laboratory tests accurately and efficiently in accordance with established laboratory procedures and quality standards. Perform testing in areas including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, immunology, and other assigned laboratory disciplines. Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and analyzers. Perform and document quality control procedures and review results for accuracy and acceptability. Analyze and validate patient test results and promptly report critical or abnormal results according to established protocols. Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation. Follow all applicable laboratory safety, infection-control, quality-assurance, and regulatory requirements. Maintain appropriate inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents. Assist with specimen processing and other laboratory functions as needed. Perform additional laboratory duties within the scope of the CLS license. Laboratory Equipment / Analyzers Chemistry VITROS XT 7600 Integrated System Hematology Sysmex XN Series Molecular / Testing Cepheid systems Coagulation STAGO START 4 Theratest / Immunology ANA ANA9 RF3 Licenses, Certifications & Qualifications Must possess a current and valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). Must meet all applicable California requirements to perform testing within the scope of the position. Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred. Experience with the listed laboratory analyzers is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately analyze and document laboratory results. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of the laboratory and clinical team.
