Service Advisor

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join our team. Looking for an individual that possess excellent customer service skills and working knowledge of mechanical repairs. The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and is able to work independently while simultaneously providing assistance to customers. Service Advisor Compensation and Benefits: Competitive Pay Health, dental, vision & life insurance options PTO & Sick Leave 401(K) with employer match Monday - Friday work schedule Air Conditioned Shop Service Advisor Responsibilities: Greet customers promptly Obtain customer and vehicle information Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts Establish follow up time Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order Explain all completed work and charges to customers Service Advisor Requirements: Valid NYS driver's license Past experience as a service advisor Ability to identify the problem quickly Knowledge of automobile repairs Very energetic personality A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization Personal and professional integrity Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications Minimum of 1 year in service department Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills Positive, friendly attitude High school diploma or equivalent #J-18808-Ljbffr Brown's Ford of Amsterdam, Inc
