On-site Project Leader: Masonry & Hardscape

Role Description The Project Manager & Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Phoenix, AZ, overseeing masonry and hardscape construction projects from planning through completion. This role coordinates schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing subcontractors and field crews, conducting site walks and inspections, tracking progress against timelines, and resolving issues that could impact schedule or budget. The position also includes working closely with clients, general contractors, and internal teams to communicate project status, document changes, and uphold workmanship and safety expectations. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in project management, including planning, scheduling, and overseeing construction activities. Candidates should possess experience as an expeditor and in expediting to ensure timely delivery of materials and coordination of resources. Candidates should possess skills in inspection to verify work quality, adherence to specifications, and compliance with safety standards. Candidates should possess logistics management skills to organize deliveries, manage inventory, and optimize workflow on job sites. Relevant qualifications include prior experience in construction management or field supervision, preferably in masonry or related trades. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Working knowledge of construction documents, building codes, and safety regulations; OSHA awareness or certification is beneficial.
