Therapist - Per Diem

Job Description Cedar Hills has opportunities for Per Diem - Therapists to join our team of great people! Our current opportunites available: Inpatient: Unit Therapist This position works on the units for patients who are admitted, again for anything from detox to acute psychiatric issues. A unit therapist will run group therapy, meet individually with patients, assist with discharge planning, join treatment team meetings, etc. Who We Are: Cedar Hills Hospital is a -bed behavioral health hospital and Outpatient Services program in Portland, Oregon dedicated to healing patients’ minds and bodies. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field required. Experience: Prefered: one (1) of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. New Master's graduates encouraged to apply! Licensure: Must be state certified in social work or clinical related mental health field. LPC-Associate, LPC, LMSW, Temporary CSWA license or LCSW license required or working to obtain licensure. Additional Requirements: CPR certification, Handle With Care and Verbal De-Escalation training within days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.
