In this role, the Sales Specialist greets customers, assesses their wireless and device needs, and recommends solutions that align with Verizon products and services. Daily responsibilities include demonstrating devices and accessories, processing sales transactions, activating new lines and upgrades, and assisting with account questions and basic troubleshooting. The Sales Specialist also helps maintain store appearance, monitors inventory levels, and ensures merchandising standards are met. In addition, this role may support team training efforts, participate in sales promotions, and contribute to meeting individual and store performance goals.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening.Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with a focus on building rapport, resolving issues, and creating positive in-store experiences.Candidates should possess Sales skills, such as consultative selling, product recommendation, and closing techniques.Candidates should possess Training and Sales Management-related skills, including the ability to support team learning and contribute to sales performance objectives.Additional beneficial qualifications include retail or wireless industry experience, basic technology proficiency, comfort using point-of-sale systems, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required; further education or relevant certifications in sales or customer service are a plus.
