PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Spokane Valley WA 99216 - 100% on-site
• Payrate: $65.75/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday - Friday

PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:


The Pharmacist will join a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to providing safe, accurate, and high-quality pharmaceutical care. In this role, you will dispense medications, counsel patients, maintain regulatory compliance, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance

• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately review, verify, and dispense prescription medications.
• Monitor patient medication compliance and identify potential overuse or medication-related concerns.
• Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications, including dosage, storage, side effects, and potential drug interactions.
• Educate patients on the proper use of medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
• Provide wellness support, including smoking cessation, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management.
• Compound medications for internal and external use and prepare sterile solutions when required.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation.
• Monitor pharmaceutical inventory and medical supplies.
• Identify medication-related issues and collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to resolve them.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, clerks, interns, and other pharmacy personnel.

PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Current pharmacist license in good standing with the state pharmacy board.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
