Job Summary

Supervises hourly associates to ensure their practices comply with company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists in ordering and keeping inventory of products.

• Maintains product cost and labor cost according to budget.

• Supervises and trains hourly staff to ensure policy and procedures are implemented.

• Maintains consistent, efficient service during peak hours.

• Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.

• Assists the Chef as needed in execution of production.

• Assists the Chef with event set up and breakdown requirements: All necessary prep, Chef's Table sets and decor, event execution, event breakdown; product labeling, storage, and disposal.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.

• Candidates must be able to comunicate in English, read and follow recipes, and complete basic mathematical calculations for recipe conversions.

• Second Language is a plus.

• 3-5 years of culinary experiences in a similar role; preferably in a high volume, luxury hotel/restaurant, scratch-cooking environment.

• Candidate must exhibit extensice sanitation and culinary knowledge, accurate knife skills, and the ability to lead and motivate staff.

• Requires the ability to work organized and within a team environment.

• Ability to work well under pressure, bea logical thinker, remains calm and resolves problems using good judgement.

• Must possess the ability to prioitize, organize and follow through to meet deadlines.

• Must be available for all shifts.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards always require for this position.

• Requires a valid Health Card.
