Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $30.62 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thu 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing timely information with supervisors and/or local authorities as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and support access control practices for sensitive operational areas. Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and carry authorized defensive tools in accordance with post orders, Allied Universal guidelines, and applicable laws and/or regulations. Minimum Requirements: An armed guard card and unarmed guard is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of military, law enforcement, and/or corrections experience Must possess department of defense secret clearance As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
