As a General Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping our historic hotel running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You'll work hands-on with a wide range of systems, including HVAC, electrical, lighting, kitchen equipment, and more, helping ensure an exceptional experience for every guest. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in solving problems, and appreciates working in a unique environment rather than a standard, cookie-cutter property.What You'll DoMaintenance & OperationsPerform repairs and preventative maintenance across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areasMaintain and troubleshoot systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, kitchen/refrigeration equipment, and moreHelp ensure all equipment is ready and operational for daily useUse schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals to complete repairs effectivelyAccurately complete work orders and document all work performedSafety & StandardsFollow all safety guidelines, brand standards, and local regulationsIdentify and report unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipmentMaintain tools, supplies, and inventory with care and efficiencyGuest & Team SupportRespond promptly and professionally to guest requests or concernsWork closely with other departments to support overall hotel operationsContribute to a positive, respectful, team-first environmentOur Service ApproachWe take pride in creating meaningful guest experiences.
