Schedule : Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM
Pay Rate : $20.00/hr
Location : Franklin, OH
Quality Control Inspector Requirements/Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
  
• Previous quality inspection experience required.
  
• Familiarity with metal manufacturing processes.
  
• Experience inspecting precision-manufactured components preferred.
  
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications.
  
• Experience performing visual and dimensional inspections.
  
• Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
  
• Knowledge of surface plate layout techniques.
  
• Ability to identify defects, irregularities, and dimensional discrepancies.
  
• Understanding of manufacturing tolerances and quality control standards.
  
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  
• Willingness to learn and develop additional inspection skills.
  
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
  
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
  
• Ability to bend, twist, turn, walk, sit, stoop, and kneel as needed.
  
• Must be able to meet the visual requirements necessary for precision inspection work.
  
• Dependable attendance, initiative, and a strong work ethic required.
  

• Inspect precision aerospace components to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  
• Perform receiving, in-process, and final quality inspections.
  
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to identify defects and irregularities.
  
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring instruments to verify product dimensions.
  
• Interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and written instructions.
  
• Verify that manufactured parts meet established dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
  
• Identify nonconforming products and communicate necessary corrections.
  
• Work with production personnel to resolve quality issues.
  
• Ensure finished components meet customer requirements before approval.
  
• Maintain accuracy and consistency throughout inspection processes.
  
• Communicate inspection findings with supervisors and other departments.
  
• Support quality improvement initiatives and manufacturing accuracy.
  
• Assist with additional quality-related functions as requested.
  
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient inspection environment.
  
• Complete additional quality control duties as assigned.
