Schedule : 1st Shift & Training: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM | 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM-2:30 AM
Pay Rate : $23.00/hr
Location : Franklin, OH
TIG Welder Requirements/Qualifications
- Must have own welding equipment.
- Previous TIG welding experience required.
- Experience performing precision TIG welding on stainless steel and Inconel preferred.
- Ability to weld sheet material ranging from approximately 0.035" to 0.250" thickness.
- Ability to set up welding equipment and select appropriate filler wire, materials, and welding parameters.
- Strong blueprint-reading skills and ability to follow work instructions, job routers, and specifications.
- Ability to perform cutting, grinding, cleaning, fitting, and other weld preparation processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds.
- Ability to safely operate grinders, hand tools, and other fabrication equipment.
- Ability to work independently while supporting the needs of the team and department.
As a TIG Welder, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel and Inconel aerospace components.
- Weld sheet material ranging from approximately 0.035" to 0.250" in thickness.
- Set up welding equipment according to job requirements.
- Select appropriate filler wire, materials, and welding parameters.
- Prepare parts through cutting, grinding, cleaning, fitting, and other fabrication processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, job routers, and specifications.
- Produce welds that meet dimensional, visual, and quality requirements.
- Inspect your own work throughout the welding process and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain weld quality while meeting production expectations.
- Safely operate grinders, hand tools, and other required equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
