Team Member, Marketing and Operations

Here's the deal:

This isn't a standard Team Member job. When there's a marketing event, you're the face of Chick-fil-A Nanuet. You're in the Cow suit, or walking the Cow through the crowd, or on the microphone hosting a spirit night, or handing out samples at the county fair. You're also the one who loads the tent and the coolers, sets it all up, and packs it back into storage when it's over. When there's no event on the calendar, you're working Front of House with the rest of the team. Both halves of the job matter equally.

One more thing. You bring the energy. If a room is quiet, you're the one who changes that.

What you'll do:

• Be the Cow. Be the Cow Handler. Be the person the kids run up to.
• Host and emcee events - school programs, spirit nights, fundraisers, fairs, festivals, and community events all over Rockland County.
• Run sampling and food distributions, in the restaurant and out in the community.
• Pull supplies in and out of storage, load the vehicle, set up, break down, and put it all back organized and clean.
• Deliver catering orders and set up on site when needed.
• Help with seasonal store decorations, community board displays, and designing flyers, posters, and other local marketing materials.
• Play dining room host - greet guests, check on tables, hand out Plush Cows, make a family's day.
• When there's no marketing going on, work front counter, drive-thru, and dining room like everyone else on the Operations team.

Skills:

• Your natural friendliness is just one of your talents.
• You're the loudest cheer in the crowd and you're fine with everyone looking at you.
• You can handle a lot of stuff and not wig out - a screaming crowd, a hot Cow suit, a rush at the counter.
• You're good with hosting a school event on Tuesday and working drive-thru on Wednesday.
• You have a creative eye. You like decorating, building displays, and making things look good.
• You like making customers happy. For real.

What you bring to the table:

• Big, contagious energy - you don't wait for someone else to get the party started.
• Solid social skills - you act like your grandma is standing behind you (at least while you're at work).
• You show up on time, every time. Events and deliveries can't start without you.
• You see whatever's low - tents, giveaways, ketchup, straws - and you fill it back up.
• You pitch in and help your crew and customers.
• You take and receive direction like a pro, from the Marketing Director and from your shift leader.
• You want to learn something new and be a part of something good.
• If something doesn't seem right, you make it right.

You must be willing and able to:

• Wear a full mascot costume for extended periods, including in warm weather and with limited visibility.
• Stand and move for most - if not all - of your shift, indoors and outdoors.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and load and unload event equipment.
• Handle weather-related moments like rain at the drive-thru, a hot day under a tent, taking trash out in the summer, etc.
• Work a flexible schedule that changes week to week and includes evenings and weekends.
• Be 18 or older with a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation for catering deliveries and event travel.
• Wear a headset, use other restaurant equipment such as a register or grill, and follow brand standards and guidelines, including Chick-fil-A Cow appearance standards.
